New Wilco album streaming tonight!

Two days after three tracks from Wilco's new album Sky Blue Sky were leaked, the folks over at Wilcoworld.net have decided to open the vault, sort of. Starting at 1100 PM EDT tonight, Sky Blue Sky will be streamed in its entirety at: http://smartley3.wilcoworld.net/sbs/

It doesn't look like I'll be catching it due to prior plans, so I expect a full report!

In other Wilco news, apparently the band will release one of the tracks from the new album for free download on Monday, March 5th. Read about it here. If I were a betting man, I'd say it'll be one of the three that leaked.

Thanks for posting this. I'm on my second listen. Overall I think it's a hit. Nels is the highlight for me. You know I already like "Impossible Germany." Nels is also incredible on "I Hate it Here." Only a couple tracks I don't care for. I'll be curious to hear your thoughts on the album. I'm sure you can find the stream somewhere and take a listen.

I am looking but to no avail right now. From the other reviews I am reading, people are loving the guitar work by Nels. He is strong on the 3 leaked tracks; can't wait to hear Impossible Germany.

Just getting through my first listen and so far I'd go with "meh." Really love some of the songs such as Impossible Germany, Hate It Here, and Walken but the rest doesn't seem to stand out. I'm only on my first listen however, so I really should withhold judgement for now.

Check that, Sky Blue Sky is awesome as well -- good to hear a little country sound thrown back in!

I think Either Way is a good tune, but I probably listened to You Are My Face>Impossible Germany>Sky Blue Sky about 10 times. Love Nels on Face. I thought Please Be Patient With Me was alright as well.

I'm sorry I missed it. Had the ol' First Anniversary to attend to. However, if this album is anything like the last...I expect the consensus to be "OK" until a live album comes out. I think Ghost is Born was MUCH better live than on the studio version.
